Up Country leads are handmade and hand sewn in Rhode Island, USA by skilled craftspeople. The leads are made from high-tensile strength nylon webbing with sewn on polyester/nylon ribbons. They are stain and fray resistant so that they last a lifetime! The hardware is cast brass, not welded, for extra strength.
